on our route without missing a stop! It's easy!

We experienced a major thunderstorm on our way in through New Jersey and into Manhattan -- ouch! We later learned that a tornado touched down on Long Island at the same time! Definitely not the friendliest introduction to the city. >
< The next day, however, we lucked into some beautiful weather -- perfect for touring the city on foot. Here is a shot of the lake (taken from the Bow Bridge) in Central Park.

V Our tour of Radio City Music Hall. It is the largest stage in the nation, and it was designed to look like a setting sun.

V An actual Rockette (named Mary) and one of the exit signs
located at the back of the theatre where the Rockettes aim their
kicks so they all stay in line and at the same height.

< A tyrranosaur in the American Museum of Natural History. Real tyrranosaur bones!
The Japanese lanterns hanging in the trees at the Tavern on the Green are wonderfully romantic. >
