experienced a major thunderstorm on our way in through New Jersey and into
Manhattan -- ouch! We later learned that a tornado touched down on Long
Island at the same time! Definitely not the friendliest introduction to
the city.

The next day, however, we lucked into some beautiful weather -- perfect
for touring the city on foot. Here is a shot of the lake (taken from the
Bow Bridge) in Central Park. |

Our tour of Radio City Music Hall. It is the largest stage in the nation,
and it was designed to look like a setting sun.
