Let us wholeheartedly relay the "Don't Miss!" recommendation we got from friends regarding the Mashed Potato Club. Come hungry, and if it's your first visit be ready to spend some time admiring the interior as well as the endless list of potato toppings that are available.

On our way out of Chicago, we headed north to the Bahai Temple in Willamette. This photo doesn't do justice to the surroundings, or to the intricate carvings and inscriptions covering the building. There are only 6 other Bahai temples in the world.

On the interstate to Minnesota, we marveled at the the gleaming asphalt as it reflected the beautiful sunset.
